"Ambiguous"
Original: 16" x 20" Acrylic on Stretched Canvas

This piece lives in the space between meanings.
Not meant to be necessarily understood, but felt.
A skull, often read as an ending, is held here with softness. Light moves across its surface. Color settles into places we’re taught to avoid looking. The gold detail in the teeth nods to resilience and value found in places often overlooked. A sunflower sits where certainty should be, reminding us that contradiction is natural. That life and loss can resonate together in one space.
"Ambiguous" is about sitting with what doesn’t have a single answer.
About allowing beauty and discomfort to exist at the same time. About resisting the urge to label, fix, or resolve.
This painting is for those who understand that not everything needs clarity to have presence.
